September Book Club Campout - Gifford Pinchot NF

  • Celtic Elk Campground 114 Cheyenne Ridge Randle, Washington, 98377 United States (map)

Let’s go camping and ride some roadbooks!

Join us for the September Northwest Roadbooks Book Club where we will discuss and analyze the “Gifford Pinchot National Forest Northside Roadbook Tour Collection”.

We are camping out at the Celtic Elk Campground near Randle, WA. Come camp out and ride with us. This is not an “event” but instead is a chance to camp together with other roadbook riders and go out and ride while following some notes.

We will be available to help you get your Android device set up and provide help with loading and understanding the roadbooks. After you finish a route, we will be there to talk about how much fun you had, where you got lost, which notes were wrong and how your navigation experience went before you head out to explore your next Route.

We will have DMD Navigation tablets, remote controls and accessories for you to look at and purchase too. Take a look at our Products to learn more about them.

The Gifford Pinchot National Forest Northside Roadbook Collection includes seven fabulous Roadbook Tours for you to ride. Click the link for more specific information about the Collection. The area is amazing with really fun and beautiful FS roads and trails for you to explore. You will be right in the heart of the forest and surrounded by Mt. Rainier, Mt. Adams, and Mt. St. Helens. The Roadbook Tours will take you to beautiful views of all of the volcanos.

It is up to you to arrange and pay for your camp spot at the Celtic Elk Campground. There is no Wi-Fi so be prepared. Cell phones don’t work so well either. An inReach is suggested. To follow the roadbooks, you will need to purchase the “Gifford Pinchot NF Northside Roadbook Tour Collection”.

See our Facebook Event for more info and to let us know you are coming to the camp out. Join our Northwest Roadbook Riders group to chat with other roadbook riders.

Get your Android tablet mounted, your remote on the bars, your power supply set up, and your TerraPirata Rally Roadbooks app loaded up and come meet us for some fun following the tulips.
